June 2026; third offering in this resuscitative wave of revamped rééditions, including remastered & re-restored audio from the original 2LP set, expanded through the addition of a separate (no idea how we missed this at the time!) late-80s LP of, frankly, incredible "Student" works entitled "New Electronic Works From The University Of Illinois At Urbana-Champaign" w/ pieces by Robert Maher, Robin Bargar, Drew Krause, Michael Mizma, Elizabeth Hinkle-Turner, David Cottle, Tucker Robinson, & Christopher Preissing, all across two discs offering over 2 hours of prime-grade Midwest Electroacoustics!

Replica edition covering this wonderful 2LP boxed set, issued on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Experimental Music Studios of the University of Illinois School of Music. Features work by a largely otherwise undocumented array of midwest composers, including Antonio G. Barata, Paul Christian Koonce, Carla Scaletti (whose dedicated audio-DSP concern Symbolic Sound operates on hallowed ground), Michael Kosch, Brian E. BelétSever Tipei, & Nelson Mandrell alongside those by more well-known ones such as studio head Herbert BrünMary Ellen Childs, and recent Creel Pone "graduate" Scott A. Wyatt

This was issued "privately" by the studio & covers an extremely wide range of activity, from pointillist analogue blat to Electronically augmented chamber works, with pieces realized between 1976 & the set's issue in 1984.
