This was the 40th* of the "Proto Creel Pone" (P.C.P.; amazing to think that, only a few years ago the idea of going back & making new replica-editions of all of these was but a glimmer, and now we're already this far along!) titles assembled ca. 2003, here fleshed out considerably to include the entirety of the dovetailed vinyl (and cassette!) -era output of Early Chilean Electro-Acoustic Composers Juan Amenábar & Jose Vicente Asuar.

Collecting the "Música Electrónica" (Astral, 1968), "El Computador Virtuoso: Música Hecha Con Computador Y Sintetizador Electrónico" (IRT, 1973), "Amacatá - Electromúsica Para Este Fin De Siglo" (Asfona, 1974), "Música Electrónica" (Philips, 1975), & "Así Habló El Computador" (Private, 1979) LPs alongside the "Música Electroacústica" (SRT, 1989) tape, this catch-all edition covers every last bit of either Composer's music as issued contemporaneously in wonderful detail across four discs, ranging from deft, expansive Musique Concrète master-works to lighter fare (the "Computador" & "Así Habló" sets are closer to Moogsploitation -styled rundowns; wonderful in their own peculiar ways).

* production note: while the original single-"disc" facsimile of "Música Electrónica" was amongst the last of the original "reproductions" made for the installation, the files were thought lost for decades until until an old friend reminded me that I'd sent him everything (lossless transcodes of the transcriptions of each record/tape alongside 2/4-megapixel photographs of the records/jackets/labels - this was pre-oversized scanner!) via our collective "Hekla's Selection" Hotline server over 20 years back & incredibly, everything was still on file! Copies of these LPs have, in the interim, skyrocketed in value (most are well over €/$500 on the open market) so getting all of this crucial data back was both supremely fortuitous & incredibly well-timed, as the C.P. P.T.B. can now offer the entire suite in one fell swoop, including a Frankenstein's Monster'ed-Together facsimile of a crumpled-up newspaper clipping found inside the Amenabar (with a list of Asuar's Electronic Works on the rear) along with an absurd & tiny 16-panel accordion-fold booklet covering a Spanish-language rundown ("Recuerdos") of Asuar's work!
