[CP 306 CD] Tym Alsipi (Alois Piňos); Elektroakusticke Skladby [C60]

June 2024; The fourth entrant in the 30X "Tape" series covers this 1984 career-retrospective of "Electroacoustic Compositions" of the shadowy composer Tym Alsipi... who, as it turns out, is none of than the legendary Czech Concrète pioneer Alois Piňos working "Out Of Contract" on the storied Italian "Ritual-Esoteric / Dark-Ambient / Experimental / Neo-Folk" waypoint Old Europe Café (!?)

Oddly the only appearance of these early Piňos works (Supraphon of course issued a litany of collections dating back to 1972 featuring his chamber works alongisde Zbyněk Vostřák, Luboš Fišer, Miloslav Ištvan, Pavel Blatný, Miloš Štědroň and other contemporaries) which makes this collection of blistering Concrète workouts (dated from 1970 to 1984) all the more special!

André Almuro's Boite-À-Musique -era output & the creakier end of Sal Martirano's "L's GA" are decent waypoints, but this material is far out on its lonesome in the darker end of the Concrète void & should be treated with due reverence...
