Notes:
"The music on this record was composed in real time by eight musicians who have been playing together in Toronto since 1974 as the Canadian Creative Music Collective. While they have highly diverse backgrounds they are united in a desire to play music that is spontaneous, fluid, organic, and self-regulating. In January 1976, with the help of a Canada Council Exploration grant, the CCMC opened the Music Gallery, a studio/concert/exhibition space devoted to new music. The gallery offers regular Tuesday and Friday concerts by the CCMC, Saturday concerts are by guest artists, and its rehersal, recording, and instrument building facilities are used by several independent groups in the community." (back cover notes)
