Good morning everyone; I hope you've all had a great Summer/Winter & have enjoyed the yearly break. After an idyllic few months spent largely playing concerts in & around the city, I've once again fired up all of the C.P. infrastructure & have resumed tuning out the whirring & clanking noises as they produce the immaculately conceived objects on offer below...

[CP 113-114-115 CD] Creelpolation-2: Singles, Pieces, Sides

[CP 281.05 CD] Stephan Wittwer; Der Rechte Weg

[CP 290-291 CD] Nora Orlandi, Franco Di Biagio, Andrea Dorigo, Guido Podestà; Pulsar, Diagenesi, Tramite, Colori, Prato Verde, Angelico

[CP 292 CD] Alan Coggins, Wendy Cook; Sound Images

Big news is that, after an 18-month lapse between [CP 114.1 CD] (the first disc of "Pieces") & now, I'm overjoyed to be able to present [CP 114.2 CD]; the fourth disc of Creelpolation-2 overall & the second of individual works of Early Electronic Music scattered about on (otherwise irrelevant) regional Compilations & Recital volumes. Featuring a further, salacious, committee-selected bank of pieces composed between 1973 & 1986 by Musik Gesamtschule Hadamar, Aristid von Wurtzler, Francis Schwartz, Joyce Bogusky Reimer, Bernard Parmegiani, Krzysztof Knittel, Mike Leckrone, Edvard Lieber, PC Fencott, Henry Kucharzyk, Samuel Pellman, Baronijan Vartkes, Vania Dantas Leite, Bohdan Mazurek, & J M Francino! Tracklisting is up on the site; we are now 2/3 of the way through this blessed, beleaguered offering, with only the two selections of "Sides" remaining...

The fifth title in the popular "Shorts" program is available now, in the form of a replication of Swiss Improviser & Composer Stephan Wittwer's unusual score for storied Artists Peter Fischli & David Weiss' second "Rat and Bear" Film "Der Rechte Weg (The Right Way)." This one has been on my own radar for a while, being something of a touchstone influence for the past few years & it's been a tough pull (in the "Broken Music" sense) for ages; glad to have this available, extending the remit of the series...

The subject of a fierce obsession amongst the C.P. "Cabal" this year has been a sextet of elusive, coverless Italian Electronic Library titles assembled by a selection of Composers led by Nora Orlandi, issued originally in 1977 as a series of "Private" issues, the entirety of which is collected on a four-disc set! Incredible selection of absurdly echo-laden analogue space-drift, proto-New-Age pianisms, hymnal ambient lustre & spiritual-leaning oscillator-gaze in that grand Production Music lineage; incredible to come across these right at the series 18th anniversary!

Ostensibly created & issued initially in 1976 as a double-LP set of "Vocal, electronic and instrumental compositions for creative work with 5-7-year-olds and 7-9-year-olds", this impeccable set of, largely, Analogue Synth miniatures and wry Tape-Studio mulch composed by Alan Coggins & Wendy Cook is as far out of time & place as imaginable, taking all of us by surprise! Seriously; head to the site and listen to the sound-samples to be bowled over...

Note that I had inadvertently set the weights of [CP 292 CD] & [CP 290-291 CD] to POUNDS instead of OUNCES, so if you were quoted an exorbitant shipping rate yesterday, it has been fixed...

[CP 000.36 CD] Alwin Nikolais; Choreosonic Music of the New Dance Theater of Alwin Nikolais +++

In Proto-Creel-Pone news, the 000.3X series has resumed its steady march backwards towards availability, augmenting the original ca. 2003 issue of Choreographer & Composer Alwin Nikolais' lone 1959 LP with an additional 2.5 discsworth of his compositions for (literally, the first available) Moog Modular, Prepared Piano, and (later) Digital-FM bonk & scatter as used to Soundtrack his Avant-Garde Dance performances between 1960 & 1987. This has been an incredibly demanding archival project that has taken up the majority of the year to sort out; glad that it has finally reached fruition!

This should tide everyone over until October; there's a fat stack of restock & réédition booklets waiting for their turn on the disc-works that I should be able to get to in a few weeks, so expect another update by month's end. I'll keep the ongoing 10% off sale active until the end of the summer (September 23rd), so please go ahead and have another look at the recent & deep back-catalogues & fill in any gaps you might have while everything is still on incentive...

That's all for now; thanks, as always & all the best -Keith

PS. the photo above is of a segment of Opus 40 outside of Saugerties; a recording of the concert given there is available for free here; enjoy!
