[PV 079 CS] Keith Fullerton Whitman; Live Occlusions

Last copies of these privately released live "Occlusions" editions, issued as two separate cassettes & a single double-disc set on Protracted View during 2013 & 2014. Includes recordings from La Casa Encendida (Madrid), Les Ateliers Claus (Brussels), Gunther (Antwerp), Caixa Fòrum (Barcelona).

Unlike the early pair of "Occlusions" issued via Editions Mego (DEMEGO 026), these by & large consist of "Direct" recordings meticulously synchronized with room & ancillary sound sources. Two quartets of performances were captured approximately one year apart in a pair of concentrated bursts & show the piece in two completely different iterations, with the latter incorporating analogue drum synthesis into the largely digital wavetable array.
